Health Economist Consultant

Wickstrøm & Langkilde ApS is specialized in health technology assessments (HTA) of pharmaceuticals in the Nordic countries. We are part of an international company G&L Group (www.gandlscientific.com).

Due to high demand for services related to economic modelling, we are looking for a health economist to come and work with us. The position is ideal for a graduate with a background in economics, who has an eye for detail and likes to work with data.

As a health economist, you will support the development of health economic analyses used in health technology assessments (HTA) across the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark).

You will work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually build your expertise in health economic modelling, data analysis, and reporting. Your work will contribute to demonstrating the value of new medicines and improving patient access to innovative treatments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development of health economic models and analyses
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and HTA documentation
• Ensuring accuracy and transparency of analyses and project documentation

• A master’s degree in economics or related fields
• Proficiency in MS Office apps, including Excel. Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) is a plus
• Course work and or work/ internship experience with e.g. economic analysis in health care or data analysis is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reproducibility of analyses
• Eagerness to learn and develop modelling skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• A passion for supporting clients and a dedication to high quality deliverables
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
